The Identity

What I Do

I trace the unbroken chains of knowledge, trust, and craftsmanship that connect the ancient world to the technologies we're building today. Then I build things that prove those chains are real — books, protocols, patents, hardware, physical objects.

Why It Matters

Modernity assumes recency equals relevance. I operate on the opposite premise: the further back you look, the further forward you can see. The answers to tomorrow's hardest problems — in trust, in value transfer, in authentication — were often solved centuries ago. Nobody is querying that database seriously. I am.

The Origin Arc

I grew up making things with my hands. Somewhere along the way I discovered that the questions I kept asking — about trust, about value, about how systems survive across generations — had already been answered. Not recently. Three thousand years ago.

I found the answers...or perhaps, the right direction, on calf-skin and papyrus, in the margins of medieval maps, in the trade routes of Phoenician merchants, in the coinage of Lydian kings. The past wasn't a museum. It was a working database — and nobody was querying it seriously.

So I built the query engine. Books tracing the unbroken chain from the first cartographers to the navigators who found new worlds. Protocols applying 3,000-year-old trust mechanisms to the AI agent economy. A published patent fusing Coasian economics with cryptographic primitives. Hardware that encrypts a musician's live performance against AI scraping using ambient data and geo-fenced time. A tarot deck mapping symbolic events across four centuries. Physical objects fabricated in my makerspace, marked with a navigator's cross.

My discipline is simple: envy nothing. Build.

The Method

How the Work Gets Made

Open With the Ancient

Every project starts with a specific artifact, person, or mechanism from the ancient record. Not “ancient wisdom” — a named source, a dated document, a verifiable route. Abraham Cresques, Majorca, 1375.

Close With the Built

Analysis without construction is not the method. Every thread traced must end in something shipped — a patent filed, a protocol deployed, a book drafted, a physical object fabricated. If it didn't ship, it's not done.

Name What Arrives

If a concept doesn't have a name yet, it gets one before publishing. Agency Quotient. Graphene-Manning. Conspiracy Inflation. Naming is how ideas become tools others can use.

Serve the Smallest Viable Audience

The work is for polymaths, maker-intellectuals, turbo autodidacts, and long-arc thinkers — people who feel out of place everywhere else. If a general audience could have written it, sharpen until only your people feel seen.

The Symbol

The Meridian Cross

A cartographer's navigational fix. The horizontal axis runs from deep antiquity (left) to the stars (right). The vertical axis spans from earth (bottom) to cosmos (top).

The crosshair — a circle with an inner dot — marks the position: fixed, planted, aimed forward.

The vertical bar intersects the horizontal at roughly one-third from the left. Closer to antiquity than to the stars. Honest. Not centered.

The star cluster lives in the upper-right quadrant only — the future side. Tick marks on the horizontal suggest geologic and civilizational time intervals, not human-scale years.

It survives at 16×16px. It works in single color. It is the statement.

Why the Conjunction Matters

Any one of these disciplines can be claimed individually. The brand exists in the space where all three overlap — and that overlap requires having actually done all three simultaneously.

Historians

Can claim: ancient record, long thread, primary sources.

Cannot claim: published patent, Bitcoin protocol, hardware prototype, makerspace fabrication.

Futurists

Can claim: building, shipping, protocols, technical architecture.

Cannot claim: calf-skin source materials, PARES archive research, tarot deck mapping 1400–1800 symbolic history.

Makers

Can claim: CNC, laser, 3D print, plasma cut, physical objects.

Cannot claim: Coasian economics in a patent, Nash Equilibrium in a cryptographic primitive, Kahneman in a tokenization model.

The brand is the conjunction. It is structurally uncopyable.
